Giraffe Tamer
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Giraffe Tamer to join our animal care team. This role is perfect for someone who combines patience, confidence, and a sense of humor with a deep respect for wildlife. As a Giraffe Tamer, you’ll work closely with some of nature’s tallest and most curious animals, ensuring their daily care, safety, and enrichment while helping create memorable educational experiences for our guests. You’ll play a key role in building trust with each giraffe, supporting their physical and emotional well-being, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment. No two days are the same—one day you’re preparing enrichment activities, the next you’re calmly negotiating personal space with a 16-foot-tall colleague. If you thrive in hands-on environments, enjoy learning something new every day, and can keep your cool when things quite literally look down on you, this role might be a perfect fit.
